Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Governor Cuomo says WNY remains under a caution flag as the positive test rate for COVID19 appears to be stabilized.
Cuomo says WNY has a rate of 1.6 percent, still the highest among the state's regions. "We have dispatched teams, we have worked hard on the messaging around compliance. We've stepped up enforcement at bars and conversations with colleges, and it appears it's having an effect," says Cuomo.
Cuomo says it appears to be stabilized in WNY. "We would like to bring it down more, but it's day to day," notes Cuomo. "But the caution flag is still up because we'd like it to be lower. It's ideal to be under 1 (percent)," says Cuomo.
