Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The leaves are changing color, football season is in full swing, and the newest Turkey Trot shirt is now available for participants.
It must be fall in Western New York!
This year's shirt is meant to celebrate all things Buffalo according to YMCA Buffalo Niagara Communications Director Mike Baggerman.
"You'll notice that there's a Buffalo city skyline in the background. We've taken a color palette that is really reminiscent of a lot of the fun activities here in Buffalo and Western New York," says Baggerman. "The Turkey Trot shirts are one of the most popular aspects of what we deliver each year with the YMCA Turkey Trot."
As for the Turkey Trot itself, Baggerman says the event has become part of the bucket list of things to do in Buffalo with around 14,000 people taking part in the Trot every year.
Trotters will receive their shirts during the week of the Turkey Trot.
To get your shirt you need to be signed up for the event.
The Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 23rd. Sign-ups are open until the day before the event.
