Amherst, N.Y. (WBEN) - A busy extended stay hotel in Amherst has been acquired by an Albany-based real estate investment group.

The Studio 6 Corporate Extended Stay hotel at 125 Inn Keepers Lane has been sold to investors M6 Studio Buffalo Amherst USA LLC for $11.77 million - making it one of the largest commercial real estate transactions in Amherst this year.

ESAP Portfolio LLC had owned the hotel, which remains open and accepting reservations and bookings.

Constructed in 1997, the three-story hotel has 119 rooms - most of which are geared towards extended stay clients like those connected to nearby office parks and the University at Buffalo.
