CLARENCE, N.Y. (WBEN)....For the second time in recent weeks, a newly-constructed home in Clarence's Woodland Hills subdivision has sold for more than $1 million.
The four-bedroom, nearly 3,000-square-foot home at 5201 Kandefers Trail sold for $1.134 million.
Kandefers Trail is the main road in Woodland Hills, a subdivision developed by Marrano Homes.
For Clarence, it marks the 32nd private residence - this year - to sell for more than $1 million.
Last year, Clarence had 30 homes sell for north of $1 million, which is considered a key economic benchmark within the region's residential real estate economic landscape.
Overall, Erie County has seen 89 homes this year sell for more than $1 million and is on pace to see at least 110 private residences sell for north of $1 million, surpassing last year's record of 105 homes going for more than the $1 million threshold.
Clarence, this year, leads all Erie County municipalities with slightly more than 21% of all $1 million home sales.
