CLARENCE, N.Y. (WBEN)....For the third time this week, a house in Erie County has sold for more than $1 million.
In the latest deal, a five-bedroom house at 4990 Sandstone Court in Clarence's tony Spaulding Lake subdivision sold for $1,149,900, according to Erie County Clerk's documents.
The deal marks the second time this week a Clarence house sold for more than the $1 million threshold.
Clarence, this year, has seen eight houses sell for more than $1 million.
Erie County, through April 28, has recorded 27 homes selling for more than $1 million and the county is pacing on more than 80 homes, this year, surpassing that benchmark.
Last year, Erie County recorded a record 105 homes that sold for more than $1 million.
The sale of homes going for north of $1 million is considered a key economic benchmark within the region's residential real estate industry.
