Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A 19-year-old from Buffalo has been charged after a double shooting that sent a child and an adult to the hospital.
U.S. Marshals arrested Markus Wright Wednesday. Wright is charged with multiple felonies including 2nd degree assault and 3rd degree criminal possession of a weapon. Wright was on parole at the time of the shooting, according to Buffalo Police.

It was Tuesday night, around 10:15 p.m., when Wright was involved in a domestic dispute in a second-floor apartment on Hager Street. Buffalo Police say the dispute eventually led to a scuffle over a gun.
During the fight, the gun went off, going through the apartment floor and striking a child in the first-floor apartment in the shoulder. There were nine children in the first-floor apartment and six children in the second-floor apartment at the time of the shooting.
The child was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Children's Hospital. An adult involved in the second-floor fight was grazed in the foot by the bullet. He was treated at ECMC for non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting happened at an apartment building on Hager Street. Nine children were in the first-floor apartment. Six children were in the second-floor apartment where the gun was fired.
