LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WBEN) – The saying "Please pick up after yourself" apparently didn't apply to some Bills fans who watched the game at Transit Drive-In on Saturday.
In a Facebook post on Sunday night, the company said they spent close to 8 hours picking up the trash left by hundreds of Bills fans after the team's win over Baltimore on Saturday.
"It seems as though Bills Mafia is highly skilled at breaking tables, but not so great at cleaning up after themselves," a post written by the Transit Drive-In said. "If you can bring prodigious amounts of beer and chips with you, it shouldn't be that difficult to bring a couple of 30 gallon trash bags along, too. Maybe our expectations were too high for an event that was free for the public to attend."
Transit Drive-In had strong sales at their concessions, though they were largely offset by payroll costs for parking, security, and other staff.
"We really are not doing these events for the money," they said.
An announcement will come this afternoon regarding Sunday's watch party.
