Federal prosecutors say suspect traveled to Wyoming County to meet 13 year old

David Lettieri

Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A Broome County man is charged with traveling to Wyoming County to attempt to have sex with a 13 year old girl.

David Lettieri, 33, of Harpursville, NY, was arrested and charged by criminal with enticement of a minor, and traveling to engage in illicit sexual contact. The charges carry a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life in prison.

Photos of the teen and Lettieri's face were also found on the phone. The investigator also searched Lettieri's Facebook account and recovered conversations between him, the girl, and her sister, which prosecutors say were sexual in nature. The victim's age was also revealed during the conversations.
