BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - A 16-year-old boy from Buffalo has been charged with the murder of a Lockport man.

The boy's name was not released due to his age. An indictment unsealed Thursday in Erie County Court says the boy and an adult defendant, whose name was not released because he is still wanted on an indictment warrant, conspired to rob Trenten Jacob Sink. Sink, 20, was allegedly lured to C Street in the City of Buffalo on March 29 around 8:30 p.m.

The boy and defendant robbed Sink of his backpack. During the robbery, he was shot in the leg, chest, and side of body. Sink died at ECMC.

Flynn said the defendants knew Sink in some manner but would not elaborate.

The boy will return to court on Monday and is being held without bail. Flynn said the boy was arrested Thursday.
