Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Erie County Sheriff's deputies arrest a man after a drug raid. 53-year-old Barry Martin of Buffalo faces felony drug charges.
Deputies say the Sheriff's Narcotic and Intelligence Unit and Department of Homeland Security - Homeland Security Investigations executed a search warrant at 108 Ericson Avenue Wednesday morning. During the search, deputies say they discovered more than a ½ kilo of cocaine and four handguns, and one of the guns was confirmed stolen.
Martin is charged with one felony count of criminal possession of a narcotic – 8-ounce or more, four felony counts of criminal possession of a loaded firearm, and one felony count of criminal possession of stolen property – firearms.
Martin is held at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.
Deputies say the joint investigation lasted approximately three months.
