Buffalo, NY (WBEN) State Police charge a Buffalo man with creating firearms parts with a 3D printer.
Troopers say an investigation that started last month identified 19 year old Socrates Sudi as one who used a 3D printer to create firearms parts for sale online.
On Tuesday, troopers along with Buffalo Police and Homeland Security executed a search warrant on Richlawn Avenue and identified and secured a number of items. Sudi was arrested and processed. Sudi was transported to Buffalo Lockup for CAP arraignment.
Ixelles M. Amisi, 22 years old, was also located inside the residence during the warrant execution. Amisi was determined to have an active bench warrant out of Cheektowaga Police Department and was turned over to them.
This is still an active investigation.
