Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Five defendants have been arraigned on an indictment where prosecutors say they were involved in a conspiracy to kill a witness to prevent their testimony in a murder trial. Four defendants have been charged with one count of first degree murder and one count of second degree conspiracy.
Those for are:
Lamarrio A. Clark, also known as “Bolo,” 29, of Buffalo
Dayshawn J. Brazier, also known as “Day Day,” 35, of Buffalo.
James S. Barnwell, also known as “Jay Rock,” 27, of Buffalo
Angela Bowser, 25, of Buffalo
Prosecutors say the four conspired to intentionally cause the death of the victim for the purpose of preventing his intended testimony in the trial of People v. Lamarrio Clark in July 2025. Morrison, also known as “Rollo,” was transported by ambulance to ECMC where he was pronounced deceased.
A fifth co-defendant, Amos J. Murray, 24, of Buffalo, was charged with one count of second degree murder.
Brazier was indicted on an additional charge: one count of attempted first degree murder for shooting Willraw Morrison on Ashley Street in Buffalo in 2024. Morrison survived the attack. Brazier is accused of hiring another person to commit the shooting with the intent to murder Morrison.
Clark, Brazier, Barnwell, Bowser and Murray are scheduled to return for a pre-trial conference on Friday, December 11, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. All five defendants were held without bail.
