Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo Police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred Saturday night just before 9 p.m. ET on McKinley Parkway near Southside Parkway.
Police say a car was traveling at a high rate of speed, left the roadway and hit several trees.
A 44-year old passenger was thrown from the vehicle and killed.
The 38-year old driver of the vehicle was taken to ECMC for multiple injuries. He is facing charges and is in police custody at the hospital.
