Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo Police officials are investigating an early Friday shooting in the city's University District that left a 23-year-old woman dead.
Northeast District police officers responded to the call just before 12:30 a.m. ET to the 1400 block of Kensington Avenue. Detectives say two females were struck by gunfire while apparently inside of a vehicle.
Both women were transported to Erie County Medical Center, where the 23-year-old was later declared deceased.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old Buffalo female is listed in stable condition at ECMC.
