Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo police have arrested an individual in connection with an overnight gun call on Monday in the vicinity of Hagen Street and Lang Avenue.
Northeast District officers responded to the call just after 1:30 a.m. ET, where officials say a male was threatening a female with a gun.
Police pursued the vehicle the suspect was in and during the pursuit, police say the driver of the vehicle jumped out of the car. The car then struck one of the responding patrol vehicles, injuring an officer. The vehicle, a Ford Fusion, eventually crashed into a building in the 1600 block of East Delavan.
The male police officer who was injured was transported by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
25-year-old Christian Bogle of Cheektowaga was arrested and charged with felony criminal mischief, felony criminal contempt, menacing and other charges.
The incident remains under investigation.
