BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - A Buffalo police officer was injured Monday afternoon near Allentown.
A spokesman for the department said the officer was struck just after 1:45 p.m. at Elmwood and Summer. The officer's patrol vehicle was struck by another vehicle. The officer was responding to a call.
The officer was taken to ECMC in an ambulance. The department did not release the officer's name or their condition. There is also no word on if there are any charges against the other vehicle involved in the injury.
