Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Buffalo School Board Wednesday night passed a $1.2 billion budget for next school year.
It includes the elimination of 51 central office positions, closes two schools and cuts programs serving Native American and culturally diverse students.
$8 million will be set aside for special education.
The vote was unanimous.
It came hours after concerns were shared by parents and others about the Native American cultural cuts.
