Cheektowaga, N.Y. (WBEN) - It was business as usual Tuesday morning at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, with planes departing and arriving with no issues.
The normal weekday flight activity continues while crews from the NFTA continue to repair the airport's fuel farm.
"Everything is going on as it normally would," said Kelly Khatib, NFTA spokesperson.
Since late Sunday, crews have repairing the fuel farm's circuit system, but even with the emergency repairs underway, the airport has ample supplies of aviation fuel.
A check of the flight information board at Buffalo Niagara International Airport found all scheduled flights were either departing or arriving at their scheduled times.
Only a handful of flights, on Monday, were diverted because of potential fuel-related issues.
"It really is business as usual," Khatib said.
Khatib suggested travelers to check with their airlines or the Buffalo airport's flight tracking online board.
