Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Buffalo Public Schools Superintendent Kriner Cash has released a timeline for students to return to the classroom.
In a letter, Cash says "I have directed staff to bring back all remaining high school opt-in students on April 26th. Remaining elementary opt-in students (up to 8th grade) will come back on May 10th."
He says this comes at a time when the district is recovering from a cyberattack and preparing to deal with a more contagious variant of COVID19.
Cash adds he will discuss further details at the April 14th Board Work Session and defer to updated recommendations from our Medical Director and local health experts.
