Cheektowaga, N.Y. (WBEN) - Cheektowaga Police are investigating an abduction Monday night outside the Walden Galleria Mall. Police say the abduction was for the victim to make a bank withdrawal.
Police say the abduction happened just before 7 p.m. ET on Monday. The victim immediately contacted them after the incident ended.
Cheektowaga Police detectives continue to investigate the incident, and have been following active leads since that time. Work will continue with partners at the Walden Galleria Mall to ensure an environment of safety for community members.
