Lockport, NY (WBEN) Alexander Bryant, age 21, was sentenced to a combined 90 years to life for sex crimes committed in Niagara Falls in the fall of 2023. A jury convicted Bryant in September of multiple counts of Predatory Sexual Assault and Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree, as well as Rape in the First Degree, Criminal Sexual Act in the Second Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree.

Niagara County DA Brian Seaman stated: “Being abducted by a stranger on the street and raped at gunpoint, or having that happen to someone you love, is most people’s worst nightmare. That nightmare became reality for these two young women. There is no place in civilized society for someone who commits these crimes, and the Court’s sentence reflects that.”

Bryant was found guilty in two incidents in 2023 where women walking alone were abducted at gunpoint, forced into alleyways behind businesses and sexually assaulted.

The maximum sentence was imposed by County Court Judge John J. Ottaviano.  District Attorney Seaman prosecuted the case personally along with Special Victims Bureau Chief Heather Nicholson and Assistant District Attorney Liesel Marcantonio.  The Niagara Falls Police Department conducted the investigation.
