Damp end to the weekend, dry start to the workweek
AccuWeather

(AccuWeather/WBEN) - Scattered showers are possible Sunday as the post-tropical remnants of Isaias move across the region. The storm has weakened significantly since making landfall, and Western New York is expected to see only its outer effects.

Rain will be widespread, with the heaviest downpours most likely near the Southern Tier on Sunday. For many, showers won’t last all day, but clouds and rain will make for a cool, gray and damp end to the weekend.

The storm’s effects will extend well inland, bringing heavy rain and gusty winds to parts of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. The strongest winds are expected near and southeast of the storm’s center. As Isaias moves north and then east, areas to its east and south could see the strongest gusts.
