CLARENCE, N.Y. (WBEN)....For the 37th time this year, a house in Clarence has sold for more than $1 million.
And, the deal continues to set a new residential real estate benchmark for both the Town of Clarence and Erie County.
In the latest deal:
* A four bedroom, 4,300-square-foot house at 9680 Rocky Point Drive in the Spaulding Lake subdivision sold $1.261 million.
The marked the 107th private residence in Erie County, this year, to sell for more than $1 million as the county continues to set new records for houses going in the seven-figure range.
Last year, Erie County set a record with 105 homes that went for north of the $1 million sales threshold but that record was broken earlier this week.
Erie County is on a pace to see more than 110 homes sell for more than $1 million this year.
The county is pacing seeing a $1 million-plus home sale nearly once every three days.
The sale of homes exceeding the $1 million-plus sales mark is considered a key economic milestone within the region's residential real estate industry.
