Clarence, NY (WBEN) Erie County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a deadly crash in Clarence.
It happened before 1pm Tuesday at Main and Goodrich. Deputies say a truck struck a vehicle waiting to turn onto Goodrich from Main head-on. The truck traveled further, striking two other vehicles near the intersection.
The driver of the first vehicle struck, Jeanette Helms died at the scene. The driver of the westbound truck was transported to ECMC for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. EMS evaluated and cleared the drivers of the other vehicles at the scene.
A portion of Main was closed for about 7-hours, and the incident remains under investigation.
