West Seneca, N.Y. (WBEN) - A fire broke out at the Buffalo's Best Catering building at 1436 Ridge Road in West Seneca late Wednesday afternoon that shut down traffic in both directions on Ridge Road, west of the I-90 and Route 219.

Crews from multiple municipalities, including West Seneca, East Seneca, Orchard Park and Lackawanna, responded to the blaze that also closed both westbound exits of Route 219 at Ridge Road.
West Seneca Police says everyone was reported to be safely out of the building at the time of the fire.
Traffic on Ridge Road was blocked for hours, including the ramps from the Thruway/219 to Ridge Road as dozens of fire companies battled the flames.
