Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Six people have been displaced and are being cared for by the Red Cross, while a firefighter suffered an ankle injury after a fire on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Buffalo Wednesday night.
The Buffalo Fire Department responded to the 2 1/2 -story home around 10:27pm Wednesday.
A city spokesperson says the fire began on the home's second floor before spreading to its attic.
Firefighters used three 1 3/4-inch hose lines and 45 feet of ground ladders to contain the fire.
