Little Valley, N.Y. (WBEN) - Five children and three adults were injured Tuesday afternoon after a crash on Route 353 in Little Valley around 1:56pm.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office says a vehicle was travelling south on the road when it struck a runaway horse before crashing head on into a northbound vehicle.
One adult was injured from being thrown off the horse before the vehicles collided.
The three adults that were injured were taken to ECMC while the five children were transported to Golisano Children's Hospital.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
