Buffalo, NY (WBEN) If you want to vote in November's election, the deadline is this Friday to register. Erie County's elections commissioners say early voting will also return.

Democratic Commissioner Jeremy Zellner says there are two ways to be registered. "Folks can bring their registrations to 134 West Eagle or they can postmark it by Friday the 8th and mail it to us at the board," says Zellner. He adds October 13th is the last day to change your address. That change, if mailed, must arrive by next Wednesday.

If you're not sure you're registered, check out the Board of Elections website. "We're fairly quick in processing those applications. You can also find out where your polling place is," says Republican Commissioner Ralph Mohr. He says New York doesn't allow online registration, so you still need to sign and mail out your form.

Mohr says early voting is set for October 23rd. "In Erie County, there are going to be 38 early voting sites. One in each town, 10 in the city of Buffalo, plus one in each of the cities of Lackawanna and Tonawanda," says Mohr. Early voting is noon to 6pm on weekends, noon to 9pm weekdays from October 23rd to October 31st. You don't need to vote in your town on early voting day.

The general election is November 2nd.
