BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - Anyone who gets vaccinated this week will be eligible to receive a two-day pass to any New York State park, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced Monday.

The latest initiative by the state comes at the same time that New York is offering the "Vax and Scratch" program, which would see people receive a lottery ticket if they are vaccinated at a state-run vaccine site.

Governor Cuomo also announced new pop-up vaccination sites across the state. Buffalo Harbor State Park will host a vaccine clinic from May 29 to May 31. Letchworth State Park will host a clinic from May 29 to May 30.

63.7% of adults in New York have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine while 54.9% of adults are fully vaccinated. More than half of all New Yorkers have received at least one dose. Currently, anybody above age 12 can receive a vaccine.
