Grand Island, NY (WBEN) A Grand Island man is dead in a crash on Grand Island late last week.
Just before 6am Friday, sheriff's deputies say a Kia Rio was traveling northbound on Grand Island Boulevard. The preliminary investigation shows that the driver attempted to make a left turn into the Tops parking lot when he failed to yield to an oncoming Toyota Tacoma, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles. The driver of the Kia Rio – a 69-year- old Grand Island man – was transported to ECMC where he died yesterday.
The investigation is ongoing,
