BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) – Capacity limits are increasing for offices, gyms, and other places in New York beginning May 15, Governor Cuomo announced Monday.
Offices can increase from 50% to 75% capacity. Gyms outside of New York City can operate at 50% capacity. Casino and gaming facilities can also operate at 50% capacity.
Beginning May 19, the governor said outdoor stadiums can increase from 20% to 33%.
14.5 million New Yorkers have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccination. The state's positive test rate of 2.39% is the lowest since early-November.
