Hamburg, N.Y. (WBEN) - Basked in summer-like sunshine on a September Saturday, hundreds of demonstrators filled the lawn in front of Hamburg Town Hall to hold a noisy rally to protest Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.
The rally was promoted heavily by the 1791 society and looked as much like a Trump rally as it did an anti Cuomo protest.
Speakers largely spoke in protest of the policies of Cuomo and focused heavily on law enforcement and the continued rallies against police being focused on across the state.
The gathering was peaceful and Hamburg Police were present to control the traffic along South Park Avenue as the event was underway and as demonstrators were exiting.
