BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN)....In a flurry of deals that marked the end of the second quarter, commercial real estate investors bought a number of notable local properties.

Combined four of the most noteworthy deals saw investors pay more than $6.5 million for the various properties.


The deals:

* The Elmwood Heights Apartments - a 33-unit apartment building that was ordered vacated three years ago after numerous Buffalo Housing Court violations were filed, has been acquired by downstate investors 597 Elmwood Avenue Ventures LLC, who paid $1.5 million for the complex.

The investors plan to renovate the building and re-open it for tenants.

The building dates back to 1900.

* Classic Bowling Lanes, a 36-lane keggling center at 1840 Military Road in the Town of Tonawanda has been sold to Louis 1884 Investments IV LLC for $1.4 million.

Classic Lanes Realty LLC had owned the bowling alley since 2020.

* A 12-unit apartment complex at 4030 Rensch Road in Amherst was acquired by Suncoast Partners LLC, who paid $2.5 million for the six-year-old complex that sits in the shadow of the University at Buffalo's Amherst campus.

* John Ronan LLC paid $1,015,000 for a multi-tenant office building at 903 Brighton Road in the Town of Tonawanda.

The 9,550-square-foot building, constructed in 1984, had been owned by Brighton-Eggert LLC.
