Pictures were sent to WBEN from WNY Photos showing a surfer on the shore of Lake Erie on Saturday afternoon in Hamburg. Wind gusts were up to 60 miles-per-hour with the average wind speed around 30 miles-per-hour.
Temperatures in Buffalo on Saturday were in the 20s and low 30s. What better time to warm up the Woodie and head down to the lake to hang 10?!
While we didn't get the name of this brave person, we have to thank WNY PHOTOS for sending us the pictures. Later this month, we expect to see Santa windsailing across the Niagara River.
