(WBEN) Major fire early Saturday afternoon in a building at 3870 Broadway in Cheektowaga.
It took 5 volunteer fire companies to bring it under control. The building was home to Gateway Materials.
The first call went out just before 12:30 Saturday afternoon. There were reports of at least two "booming" sounds from the building. No injuries and no report yet on the amount of damage done to the building. Part of the structure did collapse.
