Miami Bills Backers club ready for big weekend

"It's our one chance a year to see [the Bills] in our home state, so there's a lot that come here from Tampa, Orlando, Naples"

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Buffalo Niagara International Airport is packed with Western New Yorkers heading down to Miami for Sunday's battle for the AFC East, but most of the red, white, and blue you'll see in the crowd when the Buffalo Bills take on the Dolphins are already in South Florida.

Jon Holler, President of the Miami Bills Backers, said that for Bills fans up-and-down the coast of Florida, it's a game they look forward to every year, no matter what's at stake.

"On the West Coast of Florida, there's a lot of Bills bars. I think there's over 70," Holler told WBEN on Thuesday. "There's a lot of Bills fans in Florida. It's our one chance a year to see them in our home state, so there's a lot that come here from Tampa, Orlando, Naples."

The Bills Backers club in Miami has grown just about every year, and Holler called the response to this year's slate of events "insane."

Parties in Miami planned for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday include a 'Welcome Party,' 'Bills Backers at the Beach,' and, of course, a game day tailgate.
