Niagara Falls, N.Y. (WBEN) - Niagara Falls Police have made an arrest in connection to an early morning stabbing on Tuesday that killed a 39-year-old woman.
It was shortly before 2 a.m. EST on Tuesday when police responded to a motel in the 9800 block of Niagara Falls Boulevard for a report of a woman being stabbed. Upon arrival, officers found the deceased body of the female in one of the rooms.
During the course of the investigation, officers located a 36-year-old male that was known to the victim and had been with the victim in the same room.
Brian Wallace was arraigned Tuesday morning in Niagara Falls City Court, where he has been charged with one count of Murder in the Second Degree. The defendant has been remanded until his next court date, which has not yet been scheduled.
