Lockport, NY (WBEN)The Niagara SPCA is asking for the public's assistance in locating a City of Lockport man who faces felony animal abuse charges. They wrote on their Facebook page earlier today:

We are heartbroken. We are spitting mad. We are compelled to make sure justice is served... for Karma. We need your help.

Karma has endured a lifetime of abuse. We are confident in our assertions because we have in our possession several videos portraying the abuse. One of the videos is posted in the comments. Please know that it is disturbing and portrays animal abuse.

On October 28, Humane Officers for the Niagara SPCA gathered information and obtained an arrest warrant for Paul Silsby, 41 of Prentice Street in Lockport. Silsby fled the Prentice Street residence on Friday. He drives a red 2000 Ford F150 with a large dent on the side. He may be pulling a trailer with lawn equipment.

We are told Silsby plans to leave the area once he receives a deposit of funds this Thursday.

He may have left the residence armed. We're told Silsby has a history of animal abuse with an arrest for aggravated animal cruelty, a felony in 2005. He also has a history of child abuse, menacing, gun charges, trespassing and domestic violence.

Anyone who knows his whereabouts is asked to call their local police department or reach out to SPCA Investigators at 716-731-4368 ext 311. Please do not confront him- just report his location.

Karma is currently safe and in the custody of the Niagara SPCA.
