Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has filed a complaint against Tesla's Buffalo facility, alleging the company enforces a technology policy that restricts workers from forming a union.
The complaint says that email and content sharing within the plant can only be used for business purposes.
The NLRB has set May 22nd as the deadline for Tesla to respond. A hearing will follow in July in Buffalo where Tesla representatives will appear in front of an NLRB judge to address the complaint.
Turmoil has been following Tesla's Buffalo plant for the last month as the company reported they'll layoff over 300 employees in Buffalo this summer.
