
Lockport, N.Y. (WBEN) - A North Tonawanda woman admits to driving under the influence in causing a crash that seriously injured an e-cyclist in 2024.
Amber Clark, 43, plead guilty in Niagara County Court this week to the crimes of Vehicular Assault in the Second Degree and Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Crash Resulting in Serious Physical Injury.
Clark admitted to driving while under the influence of methamphetamine on Sept. 20, 2024, striking an e-bicyclist at the intersection of Niagara Falls Boulevard and 47th Street in the City of Niagara Falls, causing serious physical injury to the victim before fleeing the scene.
Clark faces up to eight years in prison when she returns to court to be sentenced by Supreme Court Justice Mario Giacobbe.
