NYS Comptroller Tom DiNapoli easily wins Democratic primary

(WBEN) Longtime New York State Comptroller Tom DiNapoli easily defeated challengers Drew Warshaw and Raj Goyle in Tuesday’s Democratic primary.

DiNapoli has served as comptroller since 2007. He ran on a platform of working for taxpayers and holding government accountable.

In November, DiNapoli will face Republican Joseph Hernandez.
