CATTARAUGUS COUNTY, N.Y. (WBEN) – New York State is opening up mass vaccination sites in Batavia and Olean on Friday, Governor Cuomo's office announced Thursday.
The short-term mass vaccination site will each have 3,500 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
The Batavia vaccine site will be located at Genesee Community College with the following hours:
Friday: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Monday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
The Cattaraugus County site is located at Jamestown Community College's Olean Campus with the following hours:
Friday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Sunday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Monday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Eligible residents can sign up to get the one-dose vaccine through the state or by calling 1-833-697-4829.
New York expects to receive 164,800 doses of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine this week. As the federal government supply of the vaccine increases, the state plans to expand sites throughout the week.
