ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WBEN)......In what is becoming a familiar scenario with the region's residential real estate market, another Orchard Park house has sold and, again, crossed the $1 million-plus threshold.
The five-bedroom, 4,608-square-foot house - developed by ThomasJohnson Builders - at 14 Blue Heron Court for $1,299,900, according to documents filed with the Erie County Clerk's office.
The deal is the 32nd private residence, this year in Erie County, to sell for more than $1 million.
Within the region's residential real estate industry, $1 million is considered a key economic indicator.
With an Erie County house selling for north of $1 million once every four days, the county is on a pace to see more than 85 homes go for more than that key economic benchmark.
Last year, 105 homes in Erie County sold for more than $1 million.
Of the 32 Erie County private residence that have sold for more than $1 million, this year, 13 are in in Orchard Park.
