Cheektowaga, N.Y. (WBEN) This year's Decorators' Show House by the Junior League of Buffalo is the oldest residence ever renovated by the organization.
The George Urban Mansion on Pine Ridge Road, near Villa Maria College, was built in 1869.
It served as the residence of George Urban Jr., a renowned merchant, banker and entrepreneur.
It holds an important place in Buffalo history. It is the site where Grover Cleveland launched his presidential campaign in 1884. The house is more than 7 thousand square feet and includes an indoor swimming pool and sauna.
Thirty seven rooms in the home are getting makeovers by local designers and craftsmen.
"We've had some phenomenal homes over the years. This is no exception," said Junior League spokeswoman Megan Ortolani. After the Show House is over, the home will go up for sale.
Public and private tours will be held from April 26 to May 18. You can find ticket and tour information HERE.
