Youngstown, N.Y. (WBEN) - Leaders in the Lewiston-Porter School District are investigating, what they describe as, concerning social media posts allegedly made by a staff member.
Superintendent Paul Casseri sent a letter to families on Monday, saying the district is taking the matter seriously.

"Please be assured that we take these concerns seriously and are committed to addressing the matter promptly and thoroughly," Casseri wrote.
This marks the second instance in Niagara County of a school staff member under investigation following social media activity. A teacher in the Wilson Central School District is also accused of posting concerning messages after the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Casseri added that the situation is considered a personal matter and cannot be discussed further while the investigation is ongoing.
