(WBEN Buffalo, NY) A Niagara Falls Police Officer was stabbed in the back by a man with a knife Friday evening before another officer shot that suspect. It all happened behind the Rite-Aide at 80th and Niagara Falls Boulevard.
According to police the man was tased with no effect before going after officers with a knife. A responding officers shot him.
The officer who was stabbed sustained minor injuries. The suspect was taken to ECMC in critical condition.
