Clarence, NY (WBEN) State Police charge a 19 year old Amherst woman with petit larceny after troopers say she was caught stealing political signs.
Troopers say they were dispatched to Brookhaven Drive Thursday evening for political signs being taken off a lawn. While patrolling the Brookhaven location, troopers say the complainant started following the suspect vehicle on Main Street and turned onto Transit Road when troopers initiated a traffic stop.
Troopers say they observed multiple Trump campaign signs in plain view while interviewing the driver, Olivia Cinquinio who later confessed to stealing signs off multiple yards.
Cinquinio was arrested and processed at SP Clarence on a charge of petit larceny. Cinquinio was issued an appearance ticket for the town of Clarence Court on November 3.
