Lewiston, N.Y. (WBEN) - A 16-year old female has died following a snow tubing accident in Clyde L. Burmaster Park in the Town of Lewiston.
The Niagara County Sheriff's Department received a 911 call Saturday morning reporting an accident on the sledding hill at the park, formerly known as Bond Lake, in the Town of Lewiston.
Officers from Lewiston Police and the sheriff's department say the 16-year-old and a 3-year-old male were apparently riding a sledding tube when they struck a tree at the bottom of the hill.
