Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - "The Boss" is back!
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are making their return to Buffalo in March of 2023.
"It's going to be a guaranteed sellout," says STAR 102.5's Rob Lucas.
"People don't have any idea what they're doing March 23 of next year, but they're buying the tickets on the if-come that they have the night free."

The North American leg of the tour will commence in February, with Springsteen and the band set to appear at KeyBank Center on March 23. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 27 from 10 a.m. ET to 2 p.m. ET.
"When I heard Bruce was going out, I first thought, maybe he would do a stadium show here at Highmark like Garth Brooks, but then I saw he released his European tour. He's over there for most of the summer. So it would be late winter and early spring here. March 23, hopefully it won't be snowing that night. You never can tell," says Lucas.
In order to purchase tickets, you must register through Ticketmaster's Verified Platform before July 17. This is an attempt to prevent bots from buying up tickets beforehand and give more people a chance to get tickets due to high demand. Click here to get registered via Ticketmaster. If the show does not sell out in the four-hour window, general on-sale tickets will be available at 3 p.m. the same day on July 27.
"I applaud everything that Live Nation and the ticket people are trying to do to not have scalpers buy up all the tickets with the prior registration. This show will sell out," Lucas said.
Last time Bruce was in Buffalo was Feb. 26, 2016 when he performed at KeyBank Center, known as the First Niagara Center back then.
"It's just about the atmosphere of the show, that togetherness. It's like watching Rock and Roll gospel every time he comes to town," said Lucas.
