Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - If you're through with the cold, there's good news: A big time warmup is just around the corner.

"It looks like the beginning of March is really going to ramp up quickly," said meteorologist Andy Parker with WBEN on Thursday. "We'll find daytime temperatures in the 30s, 40s, 50s, and it looks like solidly into the 60s when we get to [March] 8, 9, and 10."

That's right, 60 degrees just a week-and-a-half from today.

"There's a number of global models that will take a look at how the atmosphere works out for the next 14-15 days," Parker said. "A lot of them are showing the same thing; a big bubble of warmth coming up into the East and that's going to drive those temperatures up."

How high could we go? Parker says it's even possible we could see 70 degrees in the next few weeks.
